Reason why it can be noticed that in some public places there are dispensers containing disinfectants in order to guarantee a suitable cleaning.

The science, however, is not conclusive in this regard and therefore also the law has not adopted the measures outlined well today. A 2009 study, conducted in university colleges, has shown that hand hygiene is protected from the influence viral. Instead a 2014 research, carried out in the elementary schools of New Zealand, has found that with disinfectants there is a lower risk of respiratory diseases and also of gastroenteritis. The benefits are therefore so important that one must never forget to do it habitually.

How to properly clean your hands

For properly sanitize your hands, the procedure should last at least 40/60 seconds. In this way the hands will be sanitized and therefore an unfavorable environment for the proliferation of bacteria will be created. The experts in the health care field advised to apply soap only after having wet your hands with water. The quantity of soap must be suitable to cover the surface of the hands entirely and evenly.

The back of the fingers should be placed against the opposite palm keeping all the fingers tight together. The thumb should be cleaned with a rotational clutch held tight in the other palm. As far as the fingertips are concerned, you must always help yourself with the palm of your other hand by making rotational movements.

After these maneuvers, the hands are rinsed so they will appear somewhat soaped. To dry them you must always use a clean towel or a disposable towel. The same wipe should also be used to close the tap so as to avoid contact with potentially contaminated areas.

With the frequent spread of Coronavirus cases, it becomes crucial to maintain hand hygiene even when away from home or in conditions of absence of water. In such cases, in fact, it is always good to have a valid alternative available such as pocket disinfectants. There are various types: from gels up to those in special travel wipes or sprays with a special dispenser.

There are several on the market, the important thing is that there is alcohol or some derivative inside. Many of these disinfectant products have at least 60% alcohol, a concentration suitable not to face the dangers of Coronavirus or other viruses.

When should you wash your hands?

Another frequent question, especially these days. Having precautions allows you not to take risks for your own health and for those around you. In the first place, we have to have attention to wash your hands thoroughly every time you are away from home, especially if you have been in low healthy as metro, gym, school and even the office. In this case, there must never be a soap next to the sink or some pocket cleaning solution.

It is important to wash your hands even before to go to the bathroom so as to avoid the contact with the private parts which are one of the most areas delicate the human body. It should be noted that even when touching food or making dressings, it is essential to have clean hands.
